Ritual presentation is probably the most vital skill a priest or priestess can develop and yet it is often the least understood. You may find yourself called upon to participate in presenting rituals both old and new to your fellow Wiccans at any time and knowing this magical art will make the difference between just delivering lines and making a magical and spiritual difference.
Now there is an opportunity to study this art through the ATC, mentored by Blacksun, one of the developers of the core liturgy of the church. If you desire to learn to conduct rituals of any type and be both confident and competent as a presenter, this class will teach you. Classes will meet Sunday evenings in Blacksun’s home in Everett. There will be meetings usually three Sundays each month for five months and it is important that you make all of these classes. Only those fully dedicated to mastering these skills should apply. If this describes you, then here is what you need to do:
- First, if you are not already a member of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, you should become a member. See the membership website for more information.
- Next, you need to commit to attending the entire series of classes and being a part of the ritual presentation troupe at the church in Index.
- Third, you will need to email me at “blacksun95 (AT) msn (DOT) com” and tell me why you want to do this.
Only eight new students can be accepted, so apply early. The class must have at least two males and two females. Usually, the Sunday closest to the full moon will not be a class night. If you love the ATC and want to be a part of its ever-growing leadership, please consider signing up for this series. There will be a one-time fee of $40 to cover class costs, payable at the first class.
Blacksun has taught close to a hundred classes at festivals, etc. concerning ritual creation and is author of The Spell of Making, (now available as an e-book from Barnes & Nobel) a complete study detailing how to build powerful Wiccan rituals. He wrote the Diana’s Bow rituals for the ATC and participated as one of the presenters for many years. He served as the first Director of Religious Affairs for the church as well as a representative to the Interfaith Council of Washington and has served as high priest for StarWyrm Coven for over 30 years.

The Aquarian Tabernacle Church (ATC) was formed in 1979 by Pete “Pathfinder” Davis as a coven dedicated to providing religious services and support to the larger Wiccan community. The ATC was “the right idea at the right time,” and in a few years grew into the first Wiccan church with full legal status and recognition by the governments of three nations. The ATC now has many affiliated groups sharing the benefits and protections of the ATC recognition “umbrella” through its unique group exemption from the U.S. Treasury.
This growth is the result of building a large core group – dedicated Wiccans who share the same dedication and goals, and a willingness to work together to realize their goals. The Aquarian Tabernacle Church is not a building, it is the people who participate.
Are you interested in how you can help Wicca? Then we are interested in how we can help you. Membership in our internationally recognized church can be of immense value in your everyday life, from social interaction with like-minded folks to freedom of worship, employment and child custody matters. The ATC is family friendly, and encourages involving our little ones. Being involved with an affiliated group brings those advantages to your local community or group as well.
