An exploration of the Afro-Brazilian martial art of Capoeira and the magickal techniques it embodies. Will include an introduction to ritual, music and basic core movements of the art as well as some consideration of the connection between magic and martial arts throughout history.

Yes, I “borked” the site for a short time, but it is functioning normally now and better than ever. There is an updated look and font scheme which should make the text somewhat easier to read. I’ve also added links to our various RSS feeds to the right-hand sidebar. If you are unfamiliar with RSS Feeds, look for my sidebar article in Issue 101 of Panegyria, coming later this year.

I’m also very happy to now feature the ATC Pagan Information Network podcast, which will now be embedded right in to the ATC Website, along with a browser-friendly media player. If you’ve heard all about Jeff Harris’ series of podcasts, but had never actually listened to them, now is your chance! The entire archive is available for playback at your desire. And new episodes will automatically be available here as they are released!

Here are the positions we need. 2 Cooks: A good sense of humor and experience in preparing food for large groups is preferred. 3 Volunteer Team Leaders: Previous management experience and a working knowledge of whoopee cushions a big plus! Positions receive a break on registration fees, all the coffee and tea they can drink, and an opportunity to serve the Gods–literally! During the holiday season we are inundated with all things related to food. In this class we learn about and taste the foods of the Gods. Many foods have correspondences with specific deities, moon phases, festivals, and Sabbats. So bring an adventurous appetite as we explore the sacred aspects of many different foods. But be warned - you may never look at your morning bowl of Rice Krispies in quite the same way ever again!

With its roots in the ceremonial magick of the Golden Dawn, the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram began as a powerful and effective banishing and cleansing ritual. Today, it can be used not only as a purification, but also as a meditation tool and an excellent skill building practice. Class participants will study the rite in detail and, by the end of the class, will be able to perform the rite themselves.

Xen and I have been working to correct the technical issue we have been experiencing. We are almost there and I hope to have everything up and running again shortly. If all goes well I expect to have a new show up either this Monday or the next one.

This afternoon, while making changes for our main website and the podcast archive, the podcast files were taken offline. This was due to the procedure needed by the web host to accomodate our plans for expansion and future revisions.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience and I ask for your patience while I work to restore these files. There will likely be changes to the RSS Feed and iTunes subscription information, but I expect that the current feed will also be restored. Please come back to this site for more updates.
